In the community

When you do good, you sleep good.

Prime Sleep is proud to be a local mattress store, and it makes us even more proud to give back to the communities we’re a part of. Learn more about our charitable partners and how we’re making an impact.

There are more than 5,000 kids in Kansas City who don’t have beds to sleep on. Prime Sleep wants to help. We’ve partnered with local non-profit Sleepyhead Beds to recycle your old mattress and give it to a family in need. So far we’ve been able to connect more than 75 families with better sleeping situations. When you buy your new Prime Sleep mattress, be sure to ask us about donating your old bed this cause.

Project Warmth’s mission is to make extreme weather months more bearable for Kansas City area neighbors in need. Local contributions have helped children and adults survive Midwestern frigid winters for 35 years. When KC gets cold, Prime Sleep collects blankets and coats for this organization. Next time you stop by our store, bring some items and help our community be comfortable this winter.

Coats for Kids Foundation provides new winter coats to at-risk children, and makes sure each kid they help is healthy, able to attend school regularly, and has a strong self-esteem. Prime Sleep helps this organization by collecting coats in store. Thanks to donations from customers at each of our locations this past winter, we’ve been able to contribute nearly 130 bags of coats.
